The Crew Chronicles: The Truck, The Cameo and The Venues

Well its been a while since anyone has posted so I thought I would give you a little update of what we have been up to since Christmas as we have had a slightly less chaotic period with no gigs.

The crew took a little outing up North to Wigwam Hire on Friday to retrieve some of the equipment of the truck ready for a Cameo in Preston. It was an exciting day that saw some new faces in the van and a big thanks to Ed White and Paul O Connor for lending some more muscle to the whole shebang, it was also nice to see Tim Wickham grace us with his presence once more. Also special thanks goes to Nick Wood for getting the right key to the trailer locks to us (a slightly embarrassing situation when you are stood behind your truck unable to get in.) With the required gear off the truck and safely stored in the trusty van it was back to Thornbury in time for tea.

Sunday saw some of the crew and most of the cast clamber back into the vans and head off up North to Preston to do a cameo. Which went really well and a good time was had by all, another satisfied crowd later it was back in the van heading south again.

Then after a well deserved day off several of us including Anna and Claire have been trawling the southern part of the country looking for suitable venues to house the show. So this week we checked out Watford, Hackney, Reading and Ipswich and are off to Northampton tomorrow.

That seems to bring you all up to date with our lives, hope your all doing well and those Christmas mince pies are disappearing from your extended waistlines.

We Love You All.
